Wellbeing Champions
A Wellbeing Champion is there for colleagues when they need a listening ear, signposting on where to go for specialist help if needed, and driving a healthy workplace culture. This popular 3-hour training course follows a peer-support model, upskilling individuals to play a key role in driving health and wellbeing in the workplace.
The course will help you:
- Explore what a wellbeing champion is, and what it is not
- Understand the role and responsibilities of a wellbeing champion
- Develop skills in empathetic and active listening
- Explore ideas for planning and resourcing activities to promote wellbeing in your workplace
The course includes an interactive session, completion of on-line workbooks, access to a toolkit of resources, and an open invitation to our quarterly on-line wellbeing champion network.
You can find a list of our upcoming courses on our Eventbrite here. If you are an SME (less than 250 employees) in North, West or South West Wales this training may be free, contact wellbeing@rcs-wales.co.uk to check eligibility.
