How Go Gwyrdd can help
If Go Gwyrdd is right for you, you’ll be matched with a personal Job Coach who can support you to:
- explore green jobs and careers
- understand your strengths, interests and goals
- build confidence, skills and experience
- prepare CVs, applications and interviews
- access training, volunteering, work experience or placements
- get support as you start and settle into work
We may also be able to help with practical things like travel, clothing or equipment.
Who can take part?
Go Gwyrdd is for young people who:
- are aged 16–30
- live in North Wales
- are interested in green jobs or careers
- face barriers to getting into work
Barriers could include disability, neurodivergence, mental or physical health conditions, or other circumstances that make finding or starting work harder.
Young people from ethnic minoritised communities can also face barriers to work, and we welcome enquiries.
What is a green job?
A green job is any job that helps protect or improve the environment.
Green jobs can be found in lots of different places — from parks, farms and visitor attractions to construction, transport, offices, technology, recycling, education and more.
