WorkWell Conwy provides specialist support for people with mental health needs to achieve their work goals.
Our Employment Specialists will help you with:
- Rapid job-search based on your preferences, skills, experience and needs.
- Accessing advice on benefits and on the impact of going back to work on your income.
- Working out when and how to speak with prospective employers about any health needs or other personal issues.
We can keep supporting you when you start work for as long as you need it.
You don’t need to be receiving mental health support from the NHS or have a diagnosed condition to receive help from WorkWell. You can refer yourself for support, or agree to be referred by your GP or an agency that is working with you
WorkWell is based on the principles of Individual Placement and Support (IPS), recommended by the National Institute for Health and Care Excellence (NICE) as the leading model for supporting people with mental health needs into employment.
WorkWell is funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Participants must be aged 16+ and residents of Conwy County. You can refer yourself for support by calling 01745 336442 or completing our on-line application form.
After my first day in my new job, driving home I felt such joy – a feeling I had not felt in a long time. I am very grateful, thank you.
It has been a journey (and a half) and there were a lot of times I felt like giving up. Without support I do not think I would have improved as quickly as I have and may not have improved at all.
It’s making me feel better already and more motivated as the days go by. Just to have someone there to turn to has made a big difference to me already.
