Promoting Wellbeing in the Workplace
Cwmni Da is a Multi Award-Winning TV production company based in Caernarfon, with a team of 56 full time staff and over 30 associates.
The Wellbeing Challenge
The company highlighted wellbeing issues common to the TV production industry as a whole, with staff often under tremendous stress and crews working long hours under pressurised conditions. These stresses were exacerbated by the pandemic, which is when RCS started their engagement with the company.
What We Did
RCS worked with Cwmni Da to strengthen employee wellbeing support across highlighted areas of need. The results of a comprehensive staff survey and provided insightful and helped to shape the support provided. Senior Managers attended a training session on handling stress, and subsequently shared information with their teams about the individual therapeutic support available through the In-Work Support Service. RCS also helped the company to recruit and train four dedicated wellbeing champions.
