Negative thoughts are experienced by all of us at some time but can be more prevalent and extreme whenever we feel stressed, anxious or depressed. Learning to recognise these thought traps is the first step in overcoming them.
COPING WITH ANXIETY
We will look at the common symptoms of anxiety, what they mean, why we can struggle with them, and what are some of the ways in which we can learn to control the effects of anxiety.
A certain amount of stress can lead to optimum performance, but it can easily tip us over the edge, and is one of the leading causes of absence from work. We will find out more about the causes and effects of stress, and how to develop strategies for keeping control.
